Rainbow Perceptions Continued est la suite d'une collaboration amorcée en 2022 avec l'association Rainbow Spot. Durant trois jours, un groupe de cinq personnes participe à un workshop avec les artistes Lateena Plummer et Tamara Alegre, afin d'expérimenter des mouvements de dancehall, de croiser des perspectives chorégraphiques et des pratiques de vivre.

À la fin de la semaine, cette communauté éphémère propose une intervention publique lors de la soirée Give us back the dancefloor, qui a lieu le vendredi 22 septembre dès 22:00 à l'Arsenic.

Rainbow Perceptions Continued is the continuation of a collaboration initiated in 2022 with the Rainbow Spot association. For three days, a group of five people takes part in a workshop with artists Lateena Plummer and Tamara Alegre, experimenting with dancehall movements, crossing choreographic perspectives and living practices.

At the end of the week, this ephemeral community will present a public intervention during the Give us back the dancefloor night, which takes place on Friday September 22 at 22:00 at Arsenic.

Lateena Plummer
Lateena est une artiste de dancehall née et élevée en Jamaïque. Puissante femme noire transgenre, elle aspire à inspirer son public.

Lateena is a dancehall artist born and raised in Jamaica. A powerful transgender black woman, she aspires to inspire her audience.

Tamara Alegre
travaille avec la danse et la chorégraphie. Née à Gran Canaria, iel a travaillé comme curateurice de musique underground, dj et tour manager jusqu'en 2016. En 2018, iel a obtenu un MA en chorégraphie au DOCH, Stockholm et a a créé plusieurs pièces chorégraphiques depuis. Ses œuvres sont incarnées et chargées de résistance, d'intensité et du plaisir de danser ensemble. Tamara a une passion croissante pour le Dancehall et questionne sa position de personne blanche en relation avec cette pratique, afin de trouver des façons de naviguer entre son travail et le Dancehall.

works with dance and choreography. Born in Gran Canaria, they worked as an underground music curator, dj and tour manager until 2016. In 2018, they obtained an MA in choreography at DOCH, Stockholm and has created several choreographic pieces since. Their works are embodied and charged with resistance, intensity and the pleasure of dancing together. Tamara has a growing passion for Dancehall and questions their position as a white person in relation to this practice, in order to find ways of navigating between their work and Dancehall.
